Airports stink, so let’s drive!

Yo everyone, B-Ler here, just letting you all know about my day today, haha. So, first-off, I wake up around 9:45am-10am to get ready to go to the airport. We left the hotel around 11am and then we got there. I put my laptop on this little table thing while i was checking in my bag. So I get my ticket and walk away and then Lonna and I were going to go threw security. I see Lonna with her laptop case and I start thinking about laptops, then I realize I left mine on the table thing. I run to the table and grab my laptop, so if Lonna didn’t have her laptop with her I would have forgotten mine. That’s a good way to start my day by having a near heart attack for my laptop, ha. Now we’re at the gate and I ask the person working the desk what my seat number is because my ticket didn’t show it. They said that the flight was over booked by 5 people and everyone ended up showing up. Later on they say that I’m getting bumped off the flight because there’s too many people. I call Lehrke and good thing he was just dropping off Tony and Diamond because the next flight was at 5pm and I did not want to sit in an airport for 5 hours. Mike and I then leave to go get something to eat. When we finished eating he asked me if I wanted to drive and I was like it’s whatever. Then, we drove around and today was the first day for me driving on a main road and a high way ;) . We drove to the mall, and then we rushed back to the airport. We got to the airport and checked in and all that jazz. Now I’m at the gate asking what my seat is again because this ticket didn’t have a seat number on it either. Next, the same exact thing happened again, I got bumped off the flight again! The next flight ended up being tomorrow morning. We’re at the airport waiting to see what happens for me because there’s no more flights left. They kept saying we didn’t forget about you, we’re going to talk to you in a sec. 3 hours they come to talk to talk to us, lol, and then we figured out what we were doing for tonight. The airport gave us a free hotel room and $1,800 for flights only. That’s about all the only good thing that happened today and the fact that I improved on my driving. Sometimes we just have plain bad days. Well comment on this post please to let me know what you all think about my day, lol. Well. that’s all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!

P.S. The rest of the team got on their flights except for me, ha.

P.P.S. You can tell that’s me driving because the outside is blurry from the car driving.

Choreo, Choreo, Choreo

Mary J. Blige – The One (Remix) from ILIM on Vimeo.

Yo everyone, Brandon Perea here to just tell you all about my choreo class with Mouse. In case you don’t know who Mouse is, he is the leader and founder of Enigma Dance Crew. His crew was actually on America’s Best Dance Crew Season 1, the same Season Breaksk8 was on. You can check Enigma out in the video above. Well, Hunter Collins and I went to Mouse’s choreo class on Thursday while I was in Tampa, FL. The dance studio is in St. Petersburg, FL and I suggest if your around that area to go to his class. It is every Thursday from 7pm-8pm and it costs $10. If you go you’ll see Hunter there. I actually forgot the name of the studio, so if your interested I would get a hold of Mouse on MySpace or Facebook. The choreo was to The One by Mary J. Blige. You can check it out in the Video above. That’s all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!

B-Ler’s Favorite Videos

Yo, yo, yo everyone, Brandon Pere here coming at ya with a new B-Ler’s Favorite Videos post. Today I chose to post up the video of Tony and I in Atlanta. This is one of my favorite videos because , first-off, I hit the best back flip i have ever done and I also got to see Sam Cleveland’s Fresh Prince of Bel Air hair style. Another reason that this video is one of my favorites because it was probably one of the best skating sessions I have ever been to. There were so many jamskaters there and the music was dope, just a very fun time, ha. Tony shut everything down with the Decimater for his first set and he went for that pizza, lol. Yeah at the end Tony thinks he’s funny but I’ll get him back in Oklahoma City this weekend! Hahaa. Well yeah watch the video even though you already seen it but watch it again! That’s all for now, so remember, VANILLA STYLE!!

Bigg Flippaz G!

Yo everyone, B-Ler here, and today I’m showing you a video of me doing a front tuck at the dance studio I go to. Well, this was my first time doing a front tuck on a hard surface; I used to only front flip on grass before. I did the flip after the choreo class during a freestyle session. We actually learned a new routine for the first time because the first two times we went, we went over the same routine. Now it was the third time going and we learned choreo to Missin’ You by Trey Songz ft. Drake, the other video above. The choreo started right after Drake’s verse in the beginning. The choreo was actually pretty difficult, never underestimate choreography! ha. Well that’s all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!

Good ‘ole Arkansas

Yo everyone, Brandon Perea here, today I will be talking about my trip to Cabot, Arkansas this past weekend. Well Mike and I went down there to do a skate sale. The rink we went to was Joyland Skate Center. Tony, Diamond, and I went down there to do a show before this trip, but this time there wasn’t a show. This was the first rink that we ever did a raffle to eat dinner with me, Mike, and the Rink owners, Delana and Brian. The winner of the raffle was Gracie. She usually doesn’t have to pay to get in the rink but she paid to get in just so she can put her raffle ticket in the hat. So the 5 dollars she spent really paid off because she got a free dinner at Chilis! So congratulations to Gracie. This was also the first rink where we released my newest poster and we ended up selling out of them over there! I also went riding at a Vanilla event for the first time over there in Arkansas. I was able to ride because the rink owners are good friends with guy that owns a bike shop and I rode one of their bikes. I went riding with the bike shop owner’s son, Jagger, and I just want to make a shout out the them to say Thanks for letting me ride their bikes and for taking me around spots in Arkansas. So this trip had a lot of “First Time” moments involved in it, haha. It was really fun and I wouldn’t be surprised if I go back there in the future. Well, thats all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!

Little B-Ler in a Magazine

Yo everyone, Little B-Ler here showing you all my add in the RC Sports catalog. This is kind of old news  but I actually didn’t get to post it before, so I decided to post it now. So yeah, I just thought this was cool because this was actually my first time being in a catalog/magazine. I kept the catalog but I’m actually not totally sure where it is, haha. Other skaters that were in the catalog were Tony, Diamond, and Lonna, so if your at your local rink you can check out the magazine if you would like. Well thats all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!

P.S. Stay tuned for up and coming posts because I’m going to be posting pictures of my new room and house, so look out for that.

Phunny Photos/Funny Fotos

Photobucket

I thought this first photo was pretty funny because the license plate says GULLIE. Gully is actually how the word is spelled and I heard that it means ghetto. The reason this was funny to me is because I actually follow these BMXers that call them selves The Gully Factory and I actually sent this picture to them and they said that they were going to post it on their blog. It hasn’t been posted yet but I will let you all know if it is in the future.

Photobucket

This second photo was taken in my basement at my new house. I came home from riding and my friend, KeAndre, was with me. We went down to the basement and we saw a random wig and it was a mullet wig. So, he slipped in on and threw on a hat and it was hilarious. It’s ten times funnier in person. I thought it was funny so I took out my little handy dandy iPhone and took the picture, ha. That’s all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!

BLer’s Favorite Videos

Yo, yo, yo everyone, Brandon Perea here, showing you all another “BLer’s Favorite Videos” post. Well, first off, I just want to say that I haven’t been on my posting game this past week because it was Finals week, so sorry about that. So now lets just get to the video. Today, I’m showing you all the Great Lakes Regionals battle. This is one of my favorite videos because of the story behind it. It started off with Nate, Levi, and I making a little routine, then the battle circle started and we called out who ever wanted to do  3 on 3 team battle. We did not mean to call out Tony, Diamond, and Leo, but they practically ran on there skates once they heard the battle announcement. So, we tried to cancel the battle but then Diamond started it off. We underestimated ourselves, but then ended up giving them a run for their money. I believe this video was shot in 2008. So watch the video and comment on it on JSO. Well that’s all for now, so remember VANILLA STYLE!
